Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo – Giza Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum Tour

Upon landing at Cairo International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by our representative holding a personalized sign. Enjoy a seamless transfer in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to begin your adventure.

Your first stop is the world-renowned Giza Plateau, where ancient wonders await. Stand before the towering Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure—timeless symbols of Egypt’s grandeur.

Visit the iconic Great Sphinx, a mythical guardian with the body of a lion and the face of a pharaoh, and step into the Valley Temple, once used for royal purification rituals and mummification ceremonies.

Recharge with a tasty lunch at a reputable local restaurant.

In the afternoon, head to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the newest and most expensive archaeological museum in the world. Discover a dazzling collection of pharaonic artifacts spanning Egypt’s dynastic periods.

Highlights include statues of powerful kings, intricate jewelry, ceremonial items, and daily-life artifacts from the Old, Middle, and New Kingdoms. The museum’s cutting-edge exhibits and architectural grandeur offer a modern lens into Egypt’s ancient soul.

After an inspiring day, return to your hotel in Cairo for a restful evening.

Day 2: Cairo – Saqqara, Memphis & Dahshur Pyramids Tour

After breakfast, meet your professional Egyptologist guide and set out on a full-day tour to explore the origins of pyramid building in Egypt.

Begin at Saqqara, the royal necropolis of Egypt’s early dynasties. Here you’ll visit the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, the world’s oldest monumental stone structure, built during the 27th century BCE by the famed architect Imhotep. Its stepped design marks a significant architectural evolution that paved the way for the Giza pyramids.

Continue to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, established by King Narmer around 3100 BCE. Although much of the original city has vanished, its open-air museum reveals remnants of its former glory—including the colossal statue of Ramses II and the elegant Alabaster Sphinx.

Conclude your journey at Dahshur, a lesser-visited but remarkable pyramid site. Discover the unique Bent Pyramid, which visibly shifts angle halfway up due to early design challenges, and the Red Pyramid, Egypt’s first true smooth-sided pyramid and third largest after the Great Pyramid and Khafre’s.

After exploring these ancient marvels, return to your Cairo hotel in comfort.

How do I book a trip?

  • Decide Your Travel Dates and Budget

You can book through a local Egyptian tour operator, an international travel agency, or online platforms that specialize in Egypt tours. Check reviews and ratings to ensure they are trustworthy.

Is Tipping Included in the Tour Price?

Tipping, or “baksheesh,” is a common practice in Egypt and is not usually included in the tour price. It’s customary to tip service providers such as guides, drivers, and hotel staff. A good rule of thumb is to tip based on the level of service provided, typically around 10-15% of the bill or service cost.
