Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo – Giza Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum Tour

Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our representative holding a personalized sign. From there, enjoy a smooth, air-conditioned transfer to begin your journey into ancient history.

Your first stop is the legendary Giza Plateau. Stand before the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure—iconic structures that have stood for over 4,500 years. Gaze upon the enigmatic Great Sphinx, guarding these monuments with its lion’s body and human face. Continue to the Valley Temple, where royal rituals and mummification once took place, and take in panoramic views of this awe-inspiring landscape.

Afterward, enjoy a delicious lunch at a quality local restaurant.

Next, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), one of the most anticipated archaeological museums in the world. Designed to showcase Egypt’s ancient wonders, the GEM features thousands of artifacts, including treasures from the Old, Middle, and New Kingdoms.

Highlights include towering pharaonic statues, dazzling royal jewelry, and everyday items that bring ancient life to light. The museum’s modern design and immersive exhibits offer a unique journey through Egypt’s vast history.

At the end of your day, return comfortably to your hotel in Cairo.

Day 2: Luxor Tour by Flight – Discover the Ancient Capital of Thebes

Start your morning with an early transfer to Cairo Airport for a short domestic flight to Luxor—once the ancient capital of Egypt and now known as the “world’s greatest open-air museum.” Upon arrival, your local guide will welcome you and begin your full-day exploration.

Begin on the West Bank of the Nile, home to the Valley of the Kings. This vast necropolis contains the hidden tombs of New Kingdom pharaohs, adorned with vivid hieroglyphs and sacred scenes that detail their journey to the afterlife. Step inside these remarkable chambers and admire the preservation of color and detail in each tomb.

Next, visit the stunning Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a terraced structure nestled into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Discover the stories of one of Egypt’s most remarkable female rulers through beautifully carved reliefs. Stop by the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues that have silently stood guard for over 3,400 years.

Cross to the East Bank and explore the monumental Karnak Temple Complex, Egypt’s largest temple site. Walk through the Hypostyle Hall with its forest of colossal columns, and imagine the grandeur of ancient festivals once held in this sacred space. Conclude your tour at Luxor Temple, a magnificent riverside sanctuary connected to Karnak by the Avenue of Sphinxes. Admire statues of Ramses II, majestic obelisks, and intricate carvings that reveal the city’s religious significance.

After an inspiring day, return to Luxor Airport for your evening flight to Cairo. Upon landing, a private transfer will take you back to your hotel.

However, it’s always advisable to check the latest travel advisories from your government and stay updated on local news and developments.

How do I book a trip?

  • Decide Your Travel Dates and Budget
Determine when you want to travel and how much you are willing to spend. This helps narrow down your options for flights, accommodations, and tours.

  • Choose Your Itinerary and Destinations
Egypt offers many popular spots such as Cairo, the Pyramids of Giza, Luxor, Aswan, the Nile Cruise, Alexandria, and the Red Sea resorts. Decide which places you want to visit and for how long.

  • Find a Reliable Tour Operator or Travel Agency
You can book through a local Egyptian tour operator, an international travel agency, or online platforms that specialize in Egypt tours. Check reviews and ratings to ensure they are trustworthy.

  • Select a Tour Package or Customize Your Trip
Many companies offer pre-designed packages that include flights, hotels, transportation, and guided tours. If you prefer, you can also customize your trip based on your interests and budget.

  • Make a Reservation
Once you choose your package or itinerary, contact the tour operator to check availability. You will need to provide your personal details and pay a deposit or the full amount depending on the policy.

  • Prepare Your Travel Documents
Ensure your passport is valid and apply for an Egyptian visa if required. Confirm all bookings and print out your travel itinerary, hotel vouchers, and tour confirmations.

  • Pack and Get Ready
Prepare according to the weather and activities planned. Don’t forget essentials like comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, and travel adapters.

  • Enjoy Your Trip!
On arrival, follow your itinerary, stay in contact with your guide or agency, and enjoy exploring Egypt’s rich history and culture.

Is Tipping Included in the Tour Price?

Tipping, or “baksheesh,” is a common practice in Egypt and is not usually included in the tour price. It’s customary to tip service providers such as guides, drivers, and hotel staff. A good rule of thumb is to tip based on the level of service provided, typically around 10-15% of the bill or service cost.
